- The course is open 7 days a week from 6.30am Excluding Christmas Day
- Public play is permitted on the course 7 days per week outside of competition times.
- Open competitions on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Large groups and corporate days are available 7 days a week.

Brighton Lakes Golf & Recreation Club maintains a fleet of 60 new EZ-GO Electric Golf Carts equipped with GPS units.

Motorised Golf Cart Rules
The rules for the use of motorised golf vehicles are:
- All motorised vehicles must use the cart paths provided.
- Motorised golf carts must not be driven onto tees, greens, between greens or bunkers.
- No motorised golf carts shall be driven or left standing at the front or within 10 metres of a green.
- A motorised golf cart should not be driven ahead of play when a ball is still to be played.
- No more than two persons may ride in the motorised golf cart.
- Under no circumstances are children permitted to drive the cart.
- Use of a motorised golf vehicle may at times be denied if course conditions and or other circumstances warrant such action.
- Only alcohol purchased from the club or Pro Shop is allowed to be taken on to the golf cart and course.
Golf Club and Pull Buggy Hire
Quality hire golf club sets are available for right and left handers, ladies and junior golfers.
- Hire Clubs – 9 Holes = $20
- Hire Clubs – 18 Holes = $30
- Pull buggies = $5 each
